New York City 610

I have always mentioned that I kind of live my life in fast forward! Never stopping and can’t slow down. The bottom line is that I am having way too much fun sharing the USANA story from our amazing Associates to our world class athletes to a company that has the momentum and is pushing forward with no chance of slowing down!

From Wall Street to the slopes, people are taking notice of USANA and its benefits. In the past few weeks we’ve been making headlines for all the right reasons, and in case you missed them, I wanted to make sure you had a chance to feel the passion and energy that we all do here in the home office.

Check out some of the most recent stories below and make sure you share them with others. The USANA message is strong and the more it gets out there the better.

Inside Wall Street: Athletes, actors high on nutrition supplements via MSN Money

“The science-based nutritional supplements, which include products billed as antioxidants, replacement meals, vitamins, and low-glycemic formulations, are among the most sought-after and fast-growing health food aids,” writes Gene Marcial on MSN Money. “So it isn’t surprising that Wall Street has started paying attention to some of the healthy stock plays in the business.”

USANA Health sciences, Marcial says, is a major player and has a potential for expanded growth. Analysts are saying USANA is still “below the radar of most investors and remains under-appreciated and underpriced,” according to the story.

What’s The Best Sector For The Long Run? via Forbes

USANA Health Sciences Inc. is one the best of the bunch when it comes to consumer staples stocks, writes John Reese at Forbes. It gets aperfect score when looked out through the writer’s Warren-Buffet inspired model.

“USANA has upped EPS in all but one year of the past decade, has no long-term debt, and has a 10-year average ROE of 35.2%, which far exceeds the Buffett model’s 15% target,” he says.

A Million Dollars for Testing Positive? via Ski Racing magazine

Not only does USANA guarantee cheat-free products, but it also tailors them to different needs, reports Claire Abbe and Eric Williams in Ski Racing magazine. USANA has joined forces with the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association through the next eight years with “the goal of improving elite athlete nutrition and performance.”

USANA’s corporate office is “strongly reminiscent of the USSA’s Center for Excellence,” the writers note, wondering why it’s taken so long for the two groups to hook up. The USSA is hoping USANA will help themcome up with products and ideas addressing the specific needs of their athletes, USSA High Performance Director Troy Flanagan says in the story.

USU Studies Supplement’s Ability to Protect Lungs Against Inversions via The Salt Lake Tribune

USANA and Utah State University are taking advantage of Utah’s notorious inversions to ascertain whether certain products help people breathe better.

Researchers at USU are running a randomized study, which will test residents who have agreed to take supplements or placebos, and get their lungs and blood tested seven times this winter.

USANA’s Dr. John Cuomo believes the supplements being tested reduce inflammation and protect pulmonary function. This is the first clinical trial testing the theory. “We want to make sure we are putting together products that are beneficial to people,” Dr. Cuomo says in the story.

  5. Arthur Schopenhauer had said, “All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.” 20 years ago, USANA was certainly ahead of the crowd. Today, USANA are still way ahead, and the crowd is much larger. Often imitated, never duplicated.
